Our Story

From Banking to Bringing Tradition to Your Table

My journey started with academics, pursuing an MBA, which opened the door to my professional career. I began working in the banking sector as an HR recruiter, and later moved into marketing with ICICI Bank. These years taught me discipline, strategy, and the value of connecting with people.

But beyond the world of banking and marketing, my heart always longed for something closer to my roots—something that celebrated the simple joys of life, the flavors of tradition, and the warmth of our villages. That's when the idea of Litti Pitara was born.

At Litti Pitara, we serve more than just food—we bring the authentic taste of North Indian villages to the city. With dishes like Litti chokha and Litti chicken, Litti Mutton prepared in the traditional way, we want every bite to carry the smoky aroma, earthy flavors, and heartfelt memories of village life.

For those living far from their hometowns, this is a chance to remember and relive the taste of tradition. For others, it's an opportunity to discover the soulful simplicity of North Indian cuisine.

The Heritage of Litti

Origin (17th-18th Century)

Born in the Magadh region of Bihar, Litti became the food of farmers and soldiers—easy to carry, nutritious, and long-lasting.
